Workshop participants will learn about the purpose, components, structure and process of model-centered learning in science. Participants will select content standard(s) based on real-world phenomena, develop lesson(s) using conceptual model(s), and plan student investigation and design. Discussions will include how to integrate key vocabulary instruction, and develop facilitation strategies to enhance student engagement.

Participants are expected to attend all days of the event and must register before the first day of the event and if changes apply will be charged upfront for the Series. All cancellation request from registrant must be received 10 days prior to the first day of the workshop for a full refund.
