Social Emotional Learning (SEL) - Becoming an “Effective School” without adding another program! - What sets effective schools apart from non-effective schools? In addition to sound academics, research shows that the missing component to ineffective schools is an emphasis on Social and Emotional Learning.

Social and Emotional Learning is the ability to understand, manage and express the aspects of ones’ life in ways that enable the successful management of life tasks such as learning, forming new relationships, solving everyday problems, and adapting to demands of growth and development.

This training will provide an overview of the research behind SEL and its importance in education. Participants will leave with an understanding of how an effective SEL culture can transform the climate of the school without having to implement a new program or set of procedures.

The interactive course will provide your campus with strategies that the staff can implement immediately without feeling like they have to add another “thing” on their already full plate.
