Learn about the purpose, components, structure, and process of model-centered learning in science. You will select content standard(s) based on real-world phenomena, develop lesson(s) using conceptual model(s), and plan for student investigations and designs.

Participants will select content standard(s) based on real-world phenomena, develop lesson(s) using conceptual model(s), and plan student investigation and design. Discussions will include how to integrate key vocabulary instruction, and develop facilitation strategies to enhance student engagement.

Please note minimum of 10 participants must sign up for the workshop or it will be canceled. Participants will be notified by email. All cancellation request from registrant must be received 7 days prior to the first day of the workshop for a full refund.
