Participate in learning how to create quality project-based learning units. Over two days, work together to set up authentic learning situations where students can engage and find solutions to complex problems and questions.

Participants will:
  • learn the structure behind the creation of quality project-based learning units incorporating standards.
  • set up authentic learning situations where students can engage and find solutions to complex problems and questions. 
  • develop strong driving questions, incorporate student voice and choice, and learn how to assess student progress throughout the project.
  • explore entry events, questioning techniques, and end-product examples.
  • create a cognitively demanding, inquiry driven project to be implemented in the classroom.

Participants are expected to attend all days of the event. Please note minimum of 10 participants must sign up for the workshop or it will be canceled. Participants will be notified by email. All cancellation request from registrant must be received 7 days prior to the first day of the workshop for a full refund.
